Whip-Poor-Will
Glass Bird by Oiva Toikka

Description: His glass birds are Oiva Toikka’s best-known works. The Whip-poor-will (or Willow Duck) features bands of green to brown stripes running around an otherwise transparent body. The clear head allows a glimpse inside between the stripes.
Oiva Toikka is one of the greatest names in Finnish glass. His imaginative, rich and bold glass art sets him apart from the streamlined aesthetic of Nordic design. Birds have been a source of inspiration to Oiva Toikka for 30 years. Each glass bird is individually handmade at Iittala’s sister factory in Nuutajãrvi, Finland.

Whip-poor-will is 3" tall, 5.5" long and 3" wide.
