Celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Oiva Toikka and iittala working together with your very own Western Tanager. Created for the Museum of Glass, our 9th annual bird vividly depicts the only tanagers to be found regularly in Washington.
The Western Tanager has strikingly colorful features. A bold and summery lemon yellow fills the bird's breast, flecked with spots of brown. The Tanager's glossy jet black tail leads up to a gleaming red head and reflective blue beak.
