One of the 2009 introductions by Oiva Toikka, this bird is small and lovely in a demure opaque tan. Like the Brisk Bird, Tilda has a subtle dimpling to it's surface, and is a friendly addition to any home or office.
Each glass bird is individually handmade at Iittala’s sister factory in Nuutajãrvi, Finland. This collection of glass birds is Oiva Toikka’s best-known work. Birds have been a source of inspiration to him for over 30 years.
Toikka is one of the greatest names in Finnish glass. His imaginative, rich and bold glass art sets him apart from the streamlined aesthetic of Nordic design.
