This vase has a silver foil and cane wrap decoration that calls to mind an obi wrapped around a kimono.Shown in carnelian, it is also available in black and teal.
Sosin earned his Master's degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where he later taught. He also studied glass at the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland. In 1989, Michael established his own glassblowing company, Pinzette GlassWorks, and continues to produce work in his Berkely studio.
