Red Hot Exclusive Low Reticello Bowl by Kenny Pieper

This beautiful and technically challenging piece was made exclusively for Red Hot 2010, using reticello, one of the most challenging techniques in glassblowing. To create the reticello pattern, glass master Kenny Pieper fuses two twisted cane cups together. The low spots between the canes trap air, creating little bubbles inside each diamond.
