Description:
Marita Dingus is an artist who holds a deep respect for nature and the environment. Her work begins with found objects like coat hangers, bottle caps, and cloth remnants. With diligence and care she forms intricate works that are layered, bound, stitched or woven. In her busy hands, nothing goes to waste. This book serves as the catalog for Dingus' show Waste Not at the Museum of Glass. Some of the works shown were created during her September 2003 visiting artist residency in the Museum's hot shop.
