Kingfisher 2010 Annual iittala Bird for Museum of Glass
Description:
This year's iittala bird for the Museum of Glsss is the Kingfisher, a limited production of 750 birds only. This cheerful bird stands out with a vivid splash of orange on its breast and strong metallic beak. Each bird is individually sculpted from molten glass, signed and numbered 1/750.
For three days in October, the Museum of Glass will once again go to the birds! Every year, our Bird Lovers' Weekend is the premier event to see Oiva Toikka's newest design specifically created for the Museum of Glass. Also not to miss is the Hot Shop, where you can see birds created right in front of you.
Order your Kingfisher now and beat the crowds that will be here for the premier weekend, October 8th through the 10th. Your bird will be shipped immediately, so you can be the first to show off Oiva Toikka's newest flight of fancy.
