Description:
This is not your standard exhibition catalog. The unusual accordion binding highlights the emphasis the artists Ingalena Klenell and Beth Lipman place on landscape.
The exhibition comprises three vignettes, Memento, Landscape, and Artifacts. Mementos features an assemblage of colorless, cut, polished, and fractured objects. In Artifacts, a series of sandblasted glass components are embedded into the wall. Landscape references the pioneering paintings of Washingtonian Abby Williams Hill (1861-1943).
