Green lattice wraps around the top of this unusual glass pedestal bowl. The Czech glass master Petr Novotny used expert sculpting techniques to create the effect of a delicate webbed pattern. Novotny spent years as a teacher at the Crystalex factory in Novy Bor, Czech Republic. In 1991, he left the factory and established a studio, where he executes the ideas of prominent artists, designers, and architects.
