Cool art from the Hot Shop

Even if you haven’t yet visited the [Museum of Glass], you might know its soaring steel cone that adds drama to the Tacoma skyline. That cone houses our Hot Shop, the hot glass studio where glass art is hand-blown right here at the Museum. The Hot Shop makes glassblowing come alive when our team of artists creates a range of imaginative and functional art as Museum visitors watch. We in turn are able to sell a few select pieces to you, whether you’re shopping the Museum Store in person or buying online. All proceeds support the Museum’s education and exhibition programs.
