Glass Eats Light: Innovations in Glass

Description: Bertil Vallien is a master of sand-casted glass known for sculptures that radiate light. This exhibition shows a series of his sand-cast glass head-masks that explore dreaming as a transitional state between life and death.
The catalog includes 8 color photos, seven pages of original sketches by Vallien and a detailed essay by previous Museum of Glass assistant curator Tara McDonnell.
